petals and rosehips...

ooh it is blisteringly hot outside. let's just say i am not grateful for the heat. oh well, nothing to do but sidle up to my fan with my sketchbook and a glass of lemonade.

i revisited some old fibers techniques and began hammering my withering zinnias onto scrap fabric. also works with limp herbs. and it smells delicious.

I know what you mean it's blistering out today. I left my house to go get milk i thought i was going to melt!
I'm currently hiding out in my basement, that's how I’m keeping cool today. I know there are 2 pools in east New York. One that my mom takes the kids too, apparently almost nobody goes there. I hope you find a pool out today! Or fill your bathtub with cold water (my second favorite cooling method) whichever will do lol enjoy your summer ^_^

I went shopping! The shops are always cool! And I also found the perfect compliment accessories to finish my flower girls outfits! So it was cool and productive! :D Ashleigh

White wine and St. Germain! Okay, so alcoholic drinks don't actually cool you down, but gosh, that combination is pretty magical.

I would give almost anything to be transported back to Maine or South Carolina, though... I'm aching for some night swimming.
