today i am grateful for...

1. recovering from a long night in this city. the highlight of the evening was meeting up with maddycakes at the six six sick party at the tribeca grand. the space is amazing and i love those girls. it felt nice to be out of the apartment. we are long overdue for a chance of scenery!

2. coincidentally running into miss chelsea cook on the train on the way to work. i took a different route to work with one of my favorite ladies and she treated me to a coffee at birdbath. the only thing tastier than black coffee, is black coffee that is given to you by a friend. for free. thank you chelsea.

3. text message from my former boss, paula danyluk of the paris market in savannah georgia. turns out she and the president of my college are in new york and i will be seeing them for lunch tomorrow. i can't wait. savannah is a small town and there are three places that shape my fond memories: paris market. @ home. back in the day bakery. the trifecta of sweet memories.

4. tomorrow is my day off! i want to sleep for a thousand years. rip van ginny. travel to the land of wink'n blink'n nod. i see a very long nap in my future. fingers crossed.
