victorian layering...

i love this image from mr. newton. i was just about to bundle up all of my floaty voile dresses for the winter when this image popped up. her interpretation of this time period feels so fresh and simple and not overly theme-y. every time i spy a little victorian or edwardian number, i have to snatch it up! they are few and far between in georgia, but thankfully usually the cheapest of the bunch. what are y'alls favorite sartorial time periods?
