this is about how i'd mix up my hair routine if i had long hair. i also wish more brides would go for wild, disheveled hairstyles instead of the traditional 'dos. i'm definitely earmarking these for hairspiration for my wedding/bridal shoots. i also can not get enough of this toeheaded bouffant gal below...

the waves! the fuzz! the hair! the pouf! Love it all...
I'm so with you on not loving the rock hard up do's of most brides.
i will be a wild haired bride...
Wow! Great photographs, it all looks so natural but I wonder how difficult it is to achieve this look.
yes! i so agree about the loose, tousled look for brides. keep it natural, not coiffed. p.s. i am LOVING my long hair. i wish i was better at braiding it, mostly i just let it down and let it be its wild salt & pepper self. you would be proud! p.p.s. i will never forget your hair on our first outing as friends- what a mess- in the best way possiple <3
I think bridal hairdos in a photo shoot are one thing, and a hairdo that has to last you through the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and dancing through the reception is another.
In a photo shoot, you can stop and retouch all you want. In real life, you need staying power! All that floaty pouffy hair would turn into a matted, sweaty mess.
Also, most brides do not look like these two-pound models. A heavy-set, less attractive woman would look like Witch Hazel with a hairdo like this.
marcheline: fair point, but i think several of these styles could work on women of all sizes. some are more editorial, certainly, but others could be just lovely on any bride :)
I needed this! My hair has gotten pretty long but usually it looks the same day after day... or rather... usually it rotates, down, pony tail, bun and then the cycle starts over...
Hoping this inspiration will make me get more creative!!
Love these styles but since my hair is rather straight, it's hard to get this look!!
i'm not sure when frizzy hair got good, but it is gooood.
