a lil' cut n' paste. i've been intermittently working on our wedding scrapbook, as well as our "life in new york" scrapbook.
not gonna lie, i was given a swift kick in the pants after i unearthed this puppy at the chelsea antique's garage flea market. i can't decide whether or not to dissect it (since it is already falling apart) or preserve it. thoughts?
this is a glimpse into my works-in-progress. pretty basic fare, i have yet to break out the rubber stamps and glitter powders. just kidding...maybe...

All of these photos are so pretty! I love your blog so much its so inspirational
This is the cutest! O, I wish I'd scrapbooked some of my early New York memories... I wonder if it's too late. I certainly have enough bits and bobs saved and unceremoniously shoved into boxes.
this is entirely lovely! i like to make scrapbooks as well, but they're never as evocative as yours (although i do stick lots of things onto my walls and pile things into old tins boxes)
So pretty! You are such an inspiration.
Firstly i love your scrapbooks... Secondly funny you should pose the question of whether to preserve or dissect... I pondered that myself for a long time over one of my grandfather's scrapbooks from the 40s... It got flood damaged and some pictures had to be removed entirely as they were completely destroyed, so that many of the pages were nothing but useless captions and torn water damaged paper, while others were largely in tact. I felt really horrible about it but in the end I took the stuff out and put it in a new album, which was similar in style to the original ruined one. It seems sacrilegious to pull something like that apart, but I think I made the right choice. However I also considerd framing whole pages to hang on the wall. That might work for some of the more decorative lose pages in your scrapbook?
i love scrapbooks!! i´ve tried to make one several times but in the end i never get round to do it
yours maakes me want to give my personal scarpbook one more try
First, I love reading your blog.
Second, Your scrapbook reminds me of my grandmother's :) It too is falling apart, it was originally held together by string so I don't think binding will help hers. The ribbon is a good idea, I will have to try that just to keep it together, and it has the same look as a bundle of treasured letters :)
oh dear lordy- i'm absolutely in love with your wedding scrapbook! i've been trying to gather up stuff for a honeymoon scrapbook- you have insired me! :)
I luv this!! And I am soooo super excited for this years new line to come out! Last year i looked everywhere for a scrapbook because I couldn’t find one, finally I got it keep posting…………
