let's go to the movies...

today i am grateful for...

party dress

finally getting a chance to see bright star! a bunch of gal pals and i are braving the biting cold weather to see this utterly romantic movie. i am so stinkin' excited! i'm going to attempt to don a party dress(with a pair of winter boots). i just need to remember to bring a hankie...

*saw the movie and am such the smitten kitten! it is one of the most romantic, visually beautiful films i have seen in a long time. so worth forking over the ridiculous amount of money it costs to see a movie these days. so much better than avatar.

Oh I SO wanted to see that film, but it was in and out the cinema within a week!
Is this dress yours? The best from the Rodarte for Target! I've been looking for this dress everywhere! It is gorgeous!

I hope you enjoy the film! xxxxx

Don't know how the rest of the dress looks, but what I can see looks very promising. Have fun at the movies and will you let us know if it was any good?

Can't wait to see that movie! The trailer itself is stunning. Meanwhile, I love that dress! I tried it on in the store and I looked horrendous.

sadly, the fit it horrendous on me :( awful. i'm gonna see if workin' on my fitness helps any, but it is definitely too big in the bust and too tight on the hips.

gorgeous dress

ooo I rather want to see that, but alas my friends will rarely agree to see a film they haven't heard off :s

Saw it awhile back (maybe it came out earlier in London than the US?) and LOVED it, so dreamy, heartbreaking, and full of the most stunning imagery. Happy New Year.

I adore that dress but it looks heinous on me. I'm sure that the fitting model must have resembled a busty stick figure. Boo hiss. But, the skirts are adorable!

I love your blog, Ginny! It never fails to brighten my day. Thanks!

AAAAGH! The Rodarte dress!!!! You lucky duck!!! I am in mad-love-deep-smit with it (aren't we all?)

Bright Star is playing one showing at a small art theater here in town tomorrow night. I have been planning on seeing it ever since they posted that it would be here but drew a complete blank all day. I've been haunted all day with the thought of, "what is going on tomorrow night, I feel like it has some significance." SOOOOO, glad I read your post just now!!! I would have missed it!!!

Eep, sorry this was so long.
