have you been to the barksdale house inn in charleston?

oh this is one of my very favourites! i usually try my hardest to skulk around the children's department at the bookstore where i work (i get to pick up beatrix potter books and fairy tales and pretend to be browsing for customers), and i ALWAYS suggest this book to parents with young children. so so so beautiful!
