i've mentioned my mother sends pretty fantastic care packages. these are the contents of her latest and greatest. a heart cake pan and all the fixin's to make eddie a heart-shaped cake. with icing and sprinkles.
vintage heart quilt squares, paper heart doilies, heart cups (for the valentine's party i was going to host til my computer short-circuited). ikea tea towels. she always includes funny sunglasses. always.
she's such a good momma. she is the jam.

I freakin love care packages!! My grandma used to send them to me. I haven't posted it yet, but this post has inspired me to do a post of my own on care packages :-)

I have excellent memories of your mom and doilies...all those years of being in Brownies with her. :c) Also, funny sunglasses as a care package mainstay is a fantastic idea! Whenever someone in my family packs a suitcase, someone else in the family always sneaks into the room and hides a dog squeaky toy inside to be discovered in some faraway hotel room the next day...that's kind of our version of the same idea. Three cheers for silliness!
