newly acquired, family-owned vintage UGA gear, courtesy of pop(ed's grandfather). we've decided to turn the main bathroom into the total manly man WC. we even have a knowshon moreno painting that i have to um, work around.
i don't know if y'all know this, but college football really is not a sport in the south. it is a religion. people even have to plan their weddings around football season. no joke. glory, glory to ole georgia.

many people didn't come to our October wedding because of high school football games. Ridiculous.
WOAH, because of a high school game?????? seriously, i don't get it.. and i like football!
I work in sports radio, and am also a vintage lover, so vintage sports paraphernalia is pretty much the intersection of my two (normally at odds) loves. Even as an LSU fan I gotta say that this stuff is pretty fantastic. I've been chiding my mother for getting rid of her awesome 70's tiger gear for years, but vintage jerseys and gear are among my favorite finds

I don't know a stitch about football, college or otherwise, but even I adore Uga. Cutest mascot ever. I can't wait for Uga VIII to debut!
go dawgs!
Hi, just found your blog. So glad I did! xoxo
i'm not much for sports, but i love this photo! and bulldogs are always good, no? :)
Being a Georgia girl, I can definitely appreciate this post! I'm pretty jealous of your new possessions! :)
I have to agree that down here College Football is more of a religion (see what I did there? I capitalized it...without thinking! Habit, I suppose.). I can't say that I'm as into it as most Georgia fans, but I definitely do enjoy it! Go Dawgs! :)
:)
We had a similar situation w/ our wedding as well. The reception started as UT Knoxville played the Florida Gators.
Luckily there was a bar a floor below us, if guest so wished to catch the game. Ha!
You're right though, it is a religion down here (and I live in GA!)
