i've been hankerin' to throw a paper moon themed party. this type of prop styling had quite a long stretch! as early as the victorian era up until the 1940s, folks were hamming it up while perched on a theatrical moon. hmmm, maybe a 26th birthday party theme? i loves me a good themed party.

sounds like a brilliant theme, although it makes me think of that rubbish andrew lloyd webber program, as at the end they ride of on a moon!

ohh.... im sure you have already seen it, but if you haven't you should really watch the 1973 movie called paper moon. its really good!

Its funny, but it reminds me of one of my high school homecomings- we made a "paper moon" for pictures of the couples. Strange how something so sweet & vintage-y makes me think of the mid '80's. I think a party would be fabulous! And excuse me for being a ding-dong, but when did you all decide to go back South? Did I miss something? (Probably)
I've seen these a lot lately. I'm thinking it would be a great photo op at me + my fiance's October wedding. We'll see what he thinks... xo.
