This is the greatest thing ever.
Ginny, you were an inspiration to me the day I met you (I think I was in 8th grade?) and still are. I remember wanting to literally imitate your kindness and joy and my mom calling the 9th grade dean at the time (I completely forgot her name, it started with a D) and asking her if she thought I was ok because I was too happy all the time. Then you were my friend and support through my freshman year as my peer leader. You had me to sleepover right after my first heartbreak and gave me a journal. We watched Almost Famous and stayed up until the wee hours of the night. You were/are so special to me. Just wanted to let you know that over the past couple of years, I feel like I've kind of lost my "zing" and I feel like reading your blog has really reminded me of how silly it is not to be joyful and grateful.
