today i am grateful for...
eddie came home. my love had been away for a week. it felt like a year. we ate brunch and saw taking woodstock at the cobble hill cinema. he makes my heart go pitter-pat. 'specially when he wears just a plain white tee shirt, jeans, and boat shoes. meow.
*and i am grateful for this embroidery. a surprise wedding gift from mary who sells these lovelies on her etsy shop. when it came in the mail, i teared up. so sweet and thoughtful. from a stranger. random acts of kindness go a long way.

This is kind of gross, but whenever I'm away from my man, I always make sure to have a couple of his unwashed t-shirts on hand. Then I can fall asleep in them, and it's almost like he's there.
