as soon as the weather gets chilly, i become the ultimate hermit (this can also apply for hot weather too). i don't know why i am like this. so i sit and push my pen around paper.
the next few weeks are all business. my days off will be with new projects(yay) and tying up the last loose ends with the old apartment(boo). so at the end of the day, all i want to do is curl up on my bed with a cup of milky tea or hot chocolate and draw. stream of conscious style. i feel like henry darger. a kind of crazy recluse with stacks and stacks of creepy girl drawings and collages that don't make much rhyme or reason. except he was a genius and i'm just a weirdo.
so i apologize for the illustration-heavy gratitude lists. i just am a busy bee who forgets to bring my camera.

i like flowers and your illustrations.
these days i stay indoors when it gets too hot out. i suspect age has to do with it. i prided myself as a high heat tolerant.
your illustrations are so lovely. I keep coming back just to soak them up.
You're so talented!
I especially love the 2nd and 3rd picture

If these were on the covers of notebooks or stationery, I would snap some up for myself AND they'd be gifts for my friends. I especially like those crying girls with slight rabbit teeth! (I always thought Lou Doillon's teeth were her coolest feature!)
i think your drawings are amazing!
i'm going to sound like a broken record, but these are really beautiful. and you're right, all girls like flowers. dry ones, live ones, drawn ones. and is it really that chilly? i keep complaining that it isn't cold enough! i want to bring out my crazy little mary poppins boots and thick scarves, but it's barely cool enough to wear a jacket!
I'm not saying you're weird (you're lovely!), and I adore Henry Darger (he's lovely!), but he was the biggest weirdo ever. A genius, sure, but weird weird weird!
I love seeing your drawings and collages and bits and bobs! Although now I want a fringed parasol and a headband with a big black bow...
Henry Darger is an amazing person to feel like, at least artistically. Keep on posting all your beautiful drawings, I love them!

Would you consider selling some of these on an Etsy shop? I would love a collection!
