as real as any modern day love story can get. i watched it with my very own blue valentine on valentines day. needless to say some parts very much echoes our own story and it left us feeling heavy on our chest for the rest of the day. but as the story ends, that is open to interpretation.

Blue Valentine was amazing and sad. Its one of the best oscar pics in my opinion. What i liked about it is that its wasnt something precious or perfect. I was a REAL love story that can be ugly and beautiful. It was great.
Ryan Gosling was way better in this than the notebook and michelle williams was amazing.
Go see it.

i found blue valentine to be a raw and honest depiction of the tribulations in a marriage. two people trying to work as one, realistically isn't always so romantic... giving up dreams and trying to be a selfless human being is never an easy task. it was thought provoking and left me feeling a little heavy- hearted, of course. but, i thought it was more of a great eye-opener to the attention and the communication a relationship truly deserves. it takes effort. lots and lots of effort, no doubt (and made rather clear in this beautiful film). you will be in love with young ryan gosling's character and michelle williams, i think, was spot on.

On the contrary to comments here, I actually didn't like Blue Valentine.. and I love sad stories and depressing movies but this one I just didn't "feel it"...
..But these photos I do feel them and like them.. the first one is fairytale like.. her outfit's too cute to be true.. and alexa always looks awesome, I'm loving that coat..
